I believe that the majority of people in North America are going to wake up to an impending nightmare without ever expecting a thing. What a  dramatic statement! I feel like One of the people saying that the world is going to end if we don't address climate change. Sorry, this world is going to be around for a very long time. But is it going to be the same? No, not because of climate change but our standard of living is going to change beyond imagination. 

What proof do I have? Society has always thrived on production, if we don't produce products and services we have nothing to move wealth around. I'm not talking about the wealthy’s money I’m talking about what we believe has value. The creation of something involves effort, effort requires action and action moves all things. Wow! I just made that sentence up, I took action and boom! A sentence. Now, let's imagine that every time I wrote a sentence I had to “give” something of value to an entity that didn't create anything. They profit from my effort and they promise that they will create something good for me and others with that that I have created. Sounds so good but how true is it? 

People are actually generous, the vast majority want to help their communities, their friends and families, they want to improve the life styles they have.  That’s why they dug wells for water, created hand pumps to get the water out of the ground, after years of improving the rope and bucket method. Anyone hear of the wheel? Why would anyone create anything? Is it all just about money or is there something else? Not everyone is creative and not all creative people can product what they created, so we collaborate. The birth of anything requires collaboration…well, maybe not. But if you want to stagnate something that is easily achieved. 

We have allowed a group of people to take from us and slowly control  our society to the point that things won't function. They have created a perception of value with currency, and they aren't producing anything, the worst part is that they have stagnated society from actually producing. This is going to end badly. Its like the “Pet rock” is the value they keep pushing as their product, heads up! Rocks are everywhere which means they aren't valuable. Value comes from people, you and me doing something that someone wants or needs done. If we had the skill or product to satisfy a need we will produce something…value. Currency is helpful as an easy method to exchange products or services but the value isn't  whatever form it takes, its still in the people. Having people sit at home while you send them pet rocks isn't what we need. When the music stops there’s going to be a lot of people wondering what they can do with the rocks. If someone keeps saying we will “Build back better” how about they give an example or two on how? "Job security" is what used to be preached but that slogan also means nothing…the only security anyone has is, Them! You are whats important, you are responsible for you.
